Chad Johnson and Madison Duron Shine as MJC’s January Athletes of the Month

Modesto Junior College has named men's basketball standout Chad Johnson and women's basketball standout Madison Duron as the MJC Athletes of the Month for January, recognizing their strong performances and leadership on the court. Johnson led the men's team offensively, averaging 18 points per game during the month. His scoring surge was highlighted by a 27-point performance at Diablo Valley College and a 26-point outing against Sacramento City College, and he currently stands as the team's leading scorer.

 

On the women's side, Madison Duron delivered an all-around impact throughout January, averaging 7.4 points per game while contributing across multiple facets of the game. She recorded a season-high 14 points at Folsom Lake College and averaged 7.5 rebounds, 4.8 assists, and 2.4 steals per game, showcasing her versatility and consistent presence on both ends of the floor.
