Kannon Sharpe NorCal Pitcher of the Week After Dominant Complete Game

Sophomore right-hander Kannon Sharpe of Modesto Junior College has been named NorCal Pitcher of the Week following a commanding performance on the mound against Sierra College.

The 6-foot-0 standout from Enochs High School took full control in Friday's rubber match, delivering a complete game masterpiece to lead the Pirates to a crucial series victory over the Wolverines.

Sharpe was in complete command from the first pitch to the final out, limiting Sierra to just three hits while allowing only one run. He issued just two walks and struck out four in an efficient and composed outing, consistently keeping hitters off balance and working out of any potential trouble with poise.

With the series on the line, Sharpe rose to the occasion, setting the tone early and never letting up. His ability to pitch deep into the game and maintain control proved to be the difference-maker as the Pirates secured the series win.
