Svoboda to Compete in the 3C2A State Swimming Championships

Freshman standout Ben Svoboda (Ripon HS) is set to represent Modesto Junior College at the upcoming 3C2A State Swimming Championships, scheduled for April 30–May 2 at Orange Coast College. Svoboda earned his place at the state meet following an impressive performance at the NorCal Championships, where he showcased both speed and versatility across multiple events.

 

Svoboda highlighted his meet with a runner-up finish in the 100 freestyle, while also placing 6th in the 50 freestyle and 8th in the 100 butterfly. His strong finishes in all three events secured his qualification for the state championships, positioning him as a key competitor for the Pirates as he looks to continue his successful freshman campaign on the biggest stage.
