Lady Pirates Topple #4 San Francisco in Round 1 of the 3C2A Dual Team NorCal Regional Championship

MJC traveled to San Francisco City College today to take on the Rams who were seeded #4. The underdog Pirates (#5 seed) rallied after losing all three doubles matches and were down at one point 1-4 in overall matches. One by one, each lady fought with great determination and won all four remaining singles matches, beating the Rams 5-4. This was the first time that the women (or men) have ever lost all three doubles matches and still won the overall match. The ladies are now 11-5 overall and will travel to take on the #1 seed, American River College Tuesday April 15th @ 1pm in the 3C2A Dual Team NorCal Semifinal.
